Welcome to the 1st official edition of ‘Pixel Pastel’, our new online international juried exhibition 2022. As previously mentioned, Pixel Pastel was created to differentiate from our beloved gallery show “Les Pastellistes”. Psec will therefore now have an annual online show and a gallery exhibition!

The exhibition will run from December 15th through to March 15th 2023. We are truly honoured and humbled to say that we have received submissions from 19 different countries from around the world and this year several new countries have joined our exhibition! Our wonderful pastel society continues to grow year after year!
Congratulations to the 149 artists who had their artwork accepted and chosen by a jury panel of 3 well known Master pastellists: Aline Ordman, Jacob Aguiar and Siddick Nuckcheddy. We are truly amazed by the outstanding artwork and exceptional artistic talent on display this year!
Congratulations to all of the award winners! 18 magnificent paintings were chosen by our awards judge and young gun Daniel J Keys who has a brilliant and prolific artist career as an oil painter and who has taken the pastel world by storm this year. Nearly 10 000$ worth of cash and material prizes have been awarded to the winners!
On behalf of the PSEC Executive Committee, I wish to thank both jury teams for their generosity, dedication and time devoted to this very difficult and daunting task.
We also wish to invite you to visit our special jury gallery as well as our very own PSEC Masters’ gallery on the exhibition page. This year we have a new PSEC master, our 9th member to achieve this status, and our very own vice president, Mélissa Breault!
Special thanks and much gratitude to our dedicated PSEC committee members and everyone who volunteered their valuable time and skills in order to make this online exhibition a success. We’d like to thank Fannie Blaney, our graphic designer for our publicity and social media posters, and to Marie-Hélène Archambault of Conceptions Web Archambault who worked long hours to set up our website and exhibition page. Thank you also to Austin Hamby from ShowSubmit, the man behind the platform we use for the submission and the selection process and that makes everything so much easier!
